CASS CO. CENTRAL DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE MEETING
Location(s)
The Cass Co. Central Democratic Committee meeting will be held Thursday, August 23, at 7:00 pm at Partner's Restaurant in the Mill-Walk Mall. Dinner will be served from 6:30 to 7:00 pm for $10 per person and the meeting will follow. The featured speaker for August will be Paul LeVota, newly elected Minority Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives. He will speak about the upcoming 2008 legislative session and how important it will be to get more Democrats elected in 2008. Everyone is invited to attend and bring a friend.
AUGUST COMMITTEE MEETING NOT MANDATORY
After referencing the Cass Co. Central Democratic Committee Bylaws, it was determined that the August 2007 meeting is NOT mandatory for elected committee persons, as previously stated. The August meeting immediately following a primary is considered the mandatory meeting, which will be in August of 2008.
