Closing in...but more pledges needed

As KCUR's public radio pledge week comes to a close, I know you are all probably tired of hearing requests to pledge. But, I need your help — and so does our planet.
Two weeks ago, I challenged you to help celebrate our new greener office by pledging to replace an old, incandescent light bulb with a compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) bulb or any light marked with the government's "ENERGY STAR ®" rating.
As you recall, as an extra bit of motivation, Congressman Dennis Moore and I challenged each other to see who could sign up more people to participate in this month's "Change a Light, Change the World" campaign. We are catching up, but still losing badly to my friend Dennis, so let's go Missouri's "Fightin' Fifth!"
