Free Event: “Learn About Your WWI Veteran”
10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Day-long educational programs co-sponsored with the National Archives and Records Administration. Includes lecture by British author Neil Hanson on his book, Unknown Soldiers: The Story of the Missing of the First World War and a screening by actor and director Clark Jarrett of his documentary film The Return of Paul Jarrett on the visit of his 93-year-old grandfather, a WWI vet, to the Western Front. Archivists from the National Archives Central Plains Region in Kansas City, the National Military Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, and the National World War I Museum will be available with historical resources to help find your WWI ancestor.

Musical selections from the war will be performed by the Kansas City Ukesters
from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Our friend Mike Walker is a Ukester.
