This month's Wyandotte County Third Saturday Democratic Breakfast meets this Saturday, November 17 at The Woodlands dog track, 9700 Leavenworth Road. Our speakers for this month are: UMKC Professor Max Skidmore on the future of Social Security and Donna Birks, Tri-County AFL-CIO president and UAW Local 31 financial secretary.
A buffet is available at 8:15 am and the program begins at 9:15. Cost for the buffet is ten dollars, which includes tax, service and tip; seven dollars for students and those with limited income. And now, fruit is a part of the buffet table.
All Democrats are welcome to attend. Reservations are requested by Thursday, November 15, but not required. Email Scott Mackey or call 913-788-9328.

We had 35 Democrats attend the October breakfast to hear Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerome Gorman.
There will be no Third Saturday Breakfast in December.
In January, we plan to have a 2008 legislative preview and a presidential caucus info session, along with a final presidential candidate survey.
