NOTE FROM RICH
Hi Folks:
Just a reminder that registration ends on March 26th for filing for State
office. I have just double checked who has filed so far in three of the
areas as of March 7th. Here they are:
Larry Wilson (R) 119th (Dallas, Hickory & St. Clair)
Ed Emery (R) 126th (Barton, Dade, part of Jasper and the So. part of Polk)
Mike Parson (R) 133th (Cedar and the No. part of Polk)

Not one Democrat so far has filed. Now, if we sincerely want to take back
our state, it will be up to each of us and how involved we all get. All three
of these Republicans will run unopposed if we do not get out and find
Democrats that will win. Now I know people from the State Party came
down to different areas and talked about getting people to run, but what
they didn't tell, is the cost to run for a state office. Last election the price
tag started at $85,000.00 dollars but with the higher cost of everything,
it will cost much more. This is why we should have recruited candidates
a while back. There has to be people that will run. A few people out
there that say if someone runs and gets elected, they get a salary but
this is not the way to look at it. We help these people get elected to
represent us and save the programs that help all the people of
Missouri. So if you don't care what happens to our state do
nothing & things will remain the same and probably get worse.
However, if you do care, get out and do all you can to recruit a Democrat
and help him or her, take back our state. Thanks. RICH

WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO VOTE CONTEST
At our March meeting we will have the essays from thet Students
who entered our annual essay contest. If you can stay for about 1/2
an hour after the meeting, we can select our winners and make plans
to get the $100.00 bonds and trip to Jeff City set. Thanks.

TRASH PICK
We will set dates in April to pick up trash on Highway #13 at Osceola
and Highway #32 at the Polk/Dallas Co. line.

FAIRS
At our last meeting we decided that we would participate in the
following fairs this summer and fall: HERMITAGE, BOLIVAR,
ROSCOE AND OSCEOLA. We will need help to man the booths,
so please volunteer.
