CASS CO. CENTRAL DEMOCRATIC CLUB MEETING, THURSDAY, JUNE 26
The Cass Co. Central Democratic Club meeting will be held on Thursday, June 26, at the Butcher Block Grille in the Mill-Walk Mall in Harrisonville. The speakers for the evening will be the District 1 (South) Commissioner candidates - Greg Durnell, Terry Wilson and Jim Barnard. Also speaking will be Charles Wheeler, candidate for Missouri State Treasurer. Dinner ($10) begins at 6:30 followed by the meeting and speakers at 7:00.
...AND DOOR KNOCKING BEGINS
If you have some spare time, especially in the evenings and/or weekends, we have a group of super candidates who would welcome your help by knocking on doors throughout the county. You can sign up as a general volunteer or choose a specific campaign to help, even if it's only for a few hours. For more information or for a list of candidates, please email cassdemocrats@aol.com.
WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR PHONE BANKS
The 2008 campaigns are now in full swing and phone banks are up and running every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. We need dedicated volunteers to make phone calls to ID voters for the 2008 campaign. If you have any free time on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, we can use you. Shifts will run from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the office of O'Shaunessy & Lee in Westchester Center at the intersection of Highway 71 and Highway 2 (behind the Harrisonville bowling alley).
