Eighth (Almost) Annual KCK Street Blues Festival
The weekend of June 27-28 is the return of the Annual KCK Street Blues Festival, at a new location this year. The festival will be held at 13th and State Avenue and admission is free.
This year's Living History Tribute Show features Myra Taylor, who is the queen of the 2008 fest. Also, a Blues After Party will be held Saturday night at the Koran Temple, 1234 State Avenue. Admission is six dollars and the entertainment features Kool-Aide, Millage Gilbert and KC Kelsey Hill from 10 pm until...
Lawnchairs and coolers are welcome at the festival and concessions will be available.
