The weekend of June 27-28 is the return of the KCK Street Blues Festival, at a new location this year. The festival will be held at 13th and State Avenue and admission is free. KCK residents Millage Gilbert, Blue 88, and Lonesome Hank will be performing, along with several other area and touring musicians. This year's Living History Tribute Show features Myra Taylor, who is the queen of the 2008 fest.
Stage performances will be from 6-10 pm on Friday night and 1-10 pm on Saturday. Lawnchairs and coolers are welcome and concessions will be available.

There will be a tribute celebration for Millage Gilbert's 70th birthday on Sunday, June 29th from 6 to 10 pm at Knuckleheads Saloon in Kansas City, Missouri.
