Happy Independence Day!
I made a bunch of updates to the web site today.
I cleaned up some of the menus. I got rid of stuff we don't really need right now. I moved the things that we think are important towards the top. I think the public menu only contains the things that pertain to the public. Login to get more menu items.
I worked on the taxonomy some. We need volunteers to create a list of all the progressive groups in the KC metro area. We will add them to the book page on progressive Groups, and we need to add them to the taxonomy at the same time. If some one can do the leg work on the groups, and up date the progressive groups page, I'll do the taxonomy.
I added Mapquest as an option for getting a map to a location. This in addition to the Google maps. This is such a cool feature of this version of Civicspace. It really underscores the importance of getting a valid location so the maps work right.
I did some other tweaking with the configuration, and such. Really just learning my way around this new version of Civicspace. It's great once one gets the hang of it.
That's all for now.

Progressive Groups
I will help. Where do you want to start the list - on a page you will provide in this site?, or in a file on our home pc's to perfect, then post?
Progressive groups
Just create a book page for each group. That's what I'm thinking. Then put the page under the Progressive Group page in the book heirarchy. Then a page for each campaign under the campaign page. I think that will work. Then we can manually edit the top page to have a link to the whole list of groups. Worry about that later. For now, we just need a book page for every group and campaign.
