The Cass County DFA meeting will be held Thursday, January 17, at 6:30 pm in the Allen Bank and Trust at 1000 W. Foxwood Drive in Raymore. The meeting will focus on how to build teams in precincts. All precinct captains are invited to participate as well as anyone else who wants to add their strength to this grassroots army. Remember how short is the time between now and November 2008 and just how much needs to be done.

Please bring a couple of non-perishables to share with the West Central Food Bank.

This month's Wyandotte County Third Saturday Democratic Breakfast meets this Saturday, January 19 at The Woodlands dog track, 9700 Leavenworth Road. We will be having a presidential caucus information session, hosted by Matthew Anderson and Lindsay Gentry. Matthew is the State Field Director and Lindsay is the Third District Director for the Kansas Democratic Party.

We will also be conducting a final straw poll before the February 5 caucuses. Come out and support your favorite candidate.

The January Central Democratic Committee Meeting will be held Thursday, January 24, at the new Butcher Block Grill (old Partners) in the Mill-Walk Mall in Harrisonville.
