Trump International Hotel & Tower stands at 1 Central Park West, the most useful address in Manhattan for anyone travelling with a dog. The park begins across the street, so the first walk of the day starts a minute from the lobby doors.
Dogs are welcome in most guest rooms, and the room is ready before you arrive: a bed put down, bowls brought up, treats, toys and waste bags provided. Two dogs may share a room, the charge is $125 for the stay, and no deposit is taken.
The concierge arranges walking, sitting and grooming, and will talk you through the routes and green spaces worth knowing nearby. Your dog can settle beside you in the lounge, or stay in the room while you go out.
